Warranty
Stinky Cigar® ashtrays are designed and made to be functional and durable. We Guarantee or Warranty structural manufacturing defects. The structural manufacturing defect warranty is a limited “Lifetime” warranty . . . my lifetime! As long as I’m alive, I will cover structural manufacturing defects. If you have a structural manufacturing defect, please contact me directly by e-mail FIRST (see below) and PLEASE include photos. All we ask is that you send the damaged pieces (parts only) to me. I will repair or replace and send it back to you (in the USA only) no charge.
Damage or abuse is not covered. If you attempt to make repairs this may void the warranty.
Finishes are not covered after the initial 30-day new-product delivery. If your Stinky Cigar® ashtray arrives with a finish defect, please contact your retailer for a Warrantee replacement. If your retailer cannot or will not provide you with Warranty service during the initial 30-day new-product delivery period, contact me directly with your proof-of-purchase by e-mail shown below.
After the initial 30-day new-product delivery, we do not cover finishes for fading, chips, scratches, rust*, scorching, pealing, damage, dents or abuse.
- Rust* on stainless-steel parts, including the stirrups, is a surface condition and can be removed by buffing or with a rust-removing solution. The stainless-steel parts are solid not plated. If rust forms on a stainless-steel part, it is due to the tiny (microscopic) particles of malleable iron embedded in the surface of the parts during tooling and manufacturing.
- Powder Coated finishes are applied over malleable iron. Scratches or chips in the powder coated finish may allow rust to form. Use or storage in high humidity environments is not recommended.
- Box Pressed models and Designer Faux Finishes are also applied over malleable iron. Any scratch or chip in the Faux finish may allow rust to form. Use or storage in high humidity environments is not recommended.
We Warrantee Stinky Cigar® products for factory defects. If your Stinky Cigar® Ashtray fails due to a factory defect, we will repair or replace! Read details in the first paragraph above.
These products are hand made. While the factories use machines, the actual assembly, finishing and packaging is all done by hand. Therefore they may not be perfect. The quality control is the best for the manufacturing methods and materials. We do not offer perfection. If you feel that you have a defect, please contact us and include photos. We sincerely want you to be satisfied with our brand.
RETURNS: Should you decide the ashtray you bought is not what you want and/or you just don’t like it for any reason or perhaps you ordered one that you decided is not what you want and just want to return it in exchange for something else . . . just send it back in the original packaging materials. Refunds do not include the cost of Return shipping. The refund will be reduced by the initial cost to ship. Shipping is free for you when you purchase our products and we pay for the shipping cost. We do not pay for shipping returns. Whenever there is a problem which is our fault, of course we will take care of it for you! (also see the first paragraph for “defect” terms)
